Iain Liversage

Iain Liversage is a highly respected construction professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He has worked in both the UK and the Middle East, gaining valuable insights into different construction practices and cultures.

Iain holds the position of Group Technical Director at The Hill Group, where he leads on all technical issues and oversees the integration of the company’s MMC factories. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, he plays a crucial role in the company’s success.

Iain’s experience with modular housing includes extensive precast housing units, timber and lightweight steel frame construction, bathroom and kitchen pods, and Solohaus schemes for charities working in homelessness. He has also designed the first Passivhaus pilot schemes for Cambridge City Council and apartments that exceed the new Part L standards.

Before his appointment as Technical Director, Iain led the design and technical team for the Cambridge Investment Partnership, an equal partnership between Hill and Cambridge City Council. During his tenure, he delivered a wide range of sustainable housing, establishing himself as a thought leader in the industry.

Throughout his career, Iain has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. He is highly regarded by his colleagues and peers for his technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to delivering exceptional results.

MaryAnn has a natural drive and passion for always putting safety first. She is motivated by helping people within all levels of organisations to ‘play their part’ to help build, maintain and improve their safety culture.

MaryAnn is an Independent QHSE Consultant and has over 20 years’ experience working in Major Hazard environment of Oil and Gas production, both On and Offshore. Prior to this for 15 years she was an RGN & Nursing Officer in the British & Oman Army. She retains professional qualifications of NEBOSH certification, NEB Diploma in Safety Management and is a Lead Auditor for 9001/18001.

To make a positive & urgent safety culture change, MaryAnn believes we have to go beyond compliance to regulations. As a Champion Assessor she is looking forward to being part of a team that will work with the construction industry and stakeholders to assist them to its goal of ‘Building a Safer Future’.
